Humorous and spooky, Core’s adaptation of the short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving is a storytelling adventure with a cast of 6 weaving and winding through the words in true Core style. Based on American folklore, the story revolves around school teacher Ichabod Crane who competes against Brom Bones, a local prankster, for the hand of the wealthy Katrina Van Tassel. One night, after a party, Crane heads home only to be followed by what he thinks is the ghostly legend of Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman. Can he make it to the bridge before the horseman and out run his death? Song, dance, live sound effects, and high energy physicality all combine to bring you along for the humorous and fateful ride of Ichabod Crane.
