"Formed in 2011 Leeds City Stompers was formed to be a community string band that could play any party or event with a mixture of blues, swing, jazz, traditional and folk music just like the community string bands of the 1920s, 30s & 40s.
Expect the odd original song as well as songs by Robert Johnson, Blind Boy Fuller and Hank Williams.
Called ‘the red hot blues band’ by vintage life magazine, they bring their show from Leeds to Nottingham and we can't wait to hear it!"
