The Lee Boys grew up in the church where their father was a pastor and a steel player himself. “Sacred steel” is a type of music described as an inspired, unique form of Gospel music with a hard-driving, blues-based beat. The musical genre is rooted in Gospel, but infused with rhythm and blues, jazz, rock, funk, hip-hop, country and ideas from other nations. When The Lee Boys bring their joyous spiritual sound to the stage, audiences instantly recognize that this is not “sitting and listening” music: dancing, shouting out, and having fun are considered essential parts of their tradition. Founder and bandleader Alvin Lee explains “The inspiration and feeling that comes along with our music is the reason that people feel good.”
About Roosevelt Collier:
Soft spoken by nature, South Florida-bred ROOSEVELT COLLIER does his hollering on the pedal steel guitar. Brought up in the "sacred steel" tradition of the House of God Church, Roosevelt built his reputation alongside his uncles and cousins in The Lee Boys, known for their spirited, soul-shaking live performances. Seated front and center, "The Dr." leaves an indelible mark on listeners, flooring audiences with his lightning-fast slide work on the pedal steel.
About Melody Trucks:
Melody Trucks, a talented percussionist and vocalist, has performed in front of thousands at major music festivals such as The Peach Music Festival, Suwannee Rising, and Hulaween. As the daughter of the late Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks, Melody has continued her family's legacy in the world of Southern rock and jam band music. Her skillful percussion work and dynamic stage presence have earned her a devoted following among music fans.
About The Fitzkee Brothers:
"Fitzkee Brothers" is a group of two brothers who are amazing singers, songwriters and musicians. Post Malone called them, "The mini f-cking Allman Brothers". Nicknamed the "Thump Brothers" for their tight & funky rhythm section, they have been amazing audiences with their killer live performances ever since December of 2018 when they took the stage at their first full band rock show at Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, DE. They never looked back, playing their style of high-energy jam band rock & roll almost constantly before intimate and large audiences in DE, MD, VA, WV, PA, NY, NJ, CT, MS, OH, NC, SC, GA, FL, & TX. The group recently finished a tour of the northeast United States with Melody Trucks, daughter of famed Allman Brothers Band drummer, Butch Trucks and cousin to Derek and Duane.
