The Last Rewind is the latest project of an all-star conglomerate of DC-area musicians. Brian Zupruk, Jason Skeen, Brian Dodds, and Dave Salvo formed The Last Rewind in summer 2014. The reason was simple: people in the DC area like Phish and the DC area lacked a Phish tribute band. Too easy. The members of The Last Rewind have played festivals including Lock'n, graced stages across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and have shared bills with Phish (actual Phish), moe., Lettuce, Electron, Kung Fu, Dopapod, Tauk and Blues Traveler.
