About this Event
In this interactive presentation, Andi Cumbo will share the genealogical, historical, and archaeological research that has been done at Birdwood Plantation in Ivy. She will discuss the research findings as well as the work to include living descendants in the process of memorialization that is just beginning at the property. Andi Cumbo is a writer, genealogist and historian, and a mom. She has conducted research on the enslaved communities at plantations around Central Virginia including Bremo, Scotchtown, and Bracketts Farm.
