The Knockabouts - Hailing from the U.P., The Knockabouts play Celtic music spanning many political boundaries and periods of time. The band features Barbara Rhyneer on fiddle and vocals, Daniel Truckey on guitar, bouzouki, and vocals, and Tim DeMarte on bodhran, vocals, and guitar. The Knockabouts are all about the tunes that make you want to tap your feet, clap your hands, and maybe even break into a jig! From spirited reels and driving jigs to soulful ballads and rousing pub songs, our repertoire is a celebration of the rich Celtic heritage. We blend traditional melodies with our own unique arrangements and a healthy dose of contemporary energy, creating a sound that's both classic and fresh.
