About this Event
DESCRIPTION:
Join Chef Holly as she guides you through the process of preparing this classic household favorite, utilizing bison. Watch as she demonstrates her baked Bannock for everyone to enjoy. We will discuss tricks on incorporating more fibre and cooking with leaner and gamier meats (such as bison, moose and deer). We will discuss the history of Bannock and bison from an Indigenous perspective as we all enjoy our meal together. Go home with leftovers and Chef Holly’s list of book recommendations by Indigenous Authors.
