Dear Community Partners and Kinship Stakeholders,We are thrilled to announce the 10-Year Anniversary of the Kinship Festival on Saturday, 20th September at Knox Park, Murwillumbah! This milestone event is a celebration of the incredible journey we’ve shared, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the individuals and organisations who have contributed their time, energy, and love to create this beautiful festival where we all come together as family.
This year’s 10-year celebration promises to be a spectacular event, and we are excited to feature a flashmob that everyone can get involved with! The flashmob will unite us all—school groups, organisations, work teams, and families—and we invite you to be part of this joyous celebration. We are also seeking dance captains in each area to help guide the participants and make the event even more memorable.
If you or your group would like to register for the flashmob, please email [email protected]. We’d love to see as many of you as possible join in this exciting performance.
Additionally, Kinship Artist Stallholder, Service Provider, and Dance Troupe registrations are now open! Spaces in the park fill up fast, so be sure to get in quickly to secure your spot.
The Kinship Festival is coordinated by a volunteer team of dedicated community members and organisations - we always welcome more community members and volunteers if you are interested, please let us know!
