Join us to watch or walk in The King Harold Festival Parade. Starting from outside Epping Forest District Museum, 39/41 Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1EL, at 1pm, the medieval re-enactors and others involved in King Harold Day will walk through the town centre of Waltham Abbey to the King Harold Memorial in the Abbey Churchyard, EN9 1DJ. There a ceremony will take place with stories about King Harold and his times, followed by the placing of floral tributes on the King Harold Memorial to mark the anniversary of the death of the last Anglo-Saxon King of England.
