Speaker Bio: Nicholas Tran is an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in neurobiology with a focus on unraveling the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying vision and neurodegeneration. He earned his PhD in Molecular Genetics and Genomics from Washington University in St. Louis in December 2013. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Virginia, conferred in May 2007.
