Thursday, June 24th at 6 pm: Kody & Herren
Based in Springville, New York, Kody & Herren are multi-instrumentalists, performing on guitar, violin, harmonica, mandolin, and more. Nick and Lydia’s original material is inspired heavily by roots music and their duets provide a strong chemistry on stage.
Wednesday, July 17 at 6 pm: Sally Schaefer & Tyler Bagwell
Buffalo-based acoustic folk duo Sally Schaefer (fiddle, vocals) & Tyler Bagwell (guitar, vocals) breathe fiery new life into a treasure trove of Celtic folk melodies, fiddle tunes, ballads, and tavern songs. Sally is an ethnomusicologist and well-established musician around the Western New York area, appearing with numerous bands representing an array of musical genres, including Creek Bend bluegrass, Buffalo Bluegrass Allstars, Celtic rock outfit McCarthyizm, and alt rock band Stress Dolls. Tyler is a songwriter and historian with a vast repertoire of songs and stories. His original pieces are reflective of narrative folk writing styles melded with a fervent interest in local history. Buffalo-based sibling string trio Vibrant Strings is back for an encore performance! This group graces ALL genres of music on their violins, classical, R&B, hip hop, jazz, gospel, pop, and more. Vibrant Strings will captivate you with their unique sound.
