The Kira Daglio Fine Big Band (formerly the Young Lions Jazz Orchestra) is a 16-piece jazz ensemble composed of some of the best young emerging artists in the area. Currently pursuing a Masters degree at the New England Conservatory, Kira established the group as a means to develop her unique musical voice. Her award-winning compositions draw heavily from the swing tradition and her Latina heritage, as well as a wide selection of influences— from Ellington to D’Angelo to Jorge Drexler and beyond. Captained by their ambitious leader, The KDF Big Band is certainly a group to watch out for; this diverse collective of up-and-coming musicians offers a fresh and exciting approach to the big band format.

-Throughout the winter, please try to bring a clean pair of shoes to the dance, as salt and sand from outside can damage the dance floors in the spaces we're renting.Thank you in advance!
-When parking, we recommend allowing extra time, as nearby parking has been reduced due to the gym lot being closed.There is plenty of parking down near the Apple Cinemas, however please do not park in the Denehy parking lot or along the Q Ballroom building where it says "Enterprise" or "Fire Dept".
