The Kayaks Charity are hosting an Awards night to recognise the strengths and achievements of all our members. Everyone is invited to celebrate with us!
If you know someone with SEND (Child, young person or adult) who has achieved something, no matter how small The Kayaks Charity want to celebrate this. Please send your nomination to our page so that person can be added to the Awards list.
Some ideas for nomination might be;
* working hard at something,
* passing a test or exam,
* attending school or college if this is difficult,
* being a good friend,
* learning a new skill
* finishing a treatment or therapy
* Mayors Award or other awards schemes eg.scouts, bikeability, gymnastic, art or dance,
* positive mindset
* joining or attending a club or sport if this is challenging
* helping someone
* showing kindness
* getting a job or volunteering role
* attending training or course
We want to celebrate as many members as possible so please let us know.
We hope to include Mayors Award presentations for those who have completed either level 1, 2 or 3.
This is also a fundraising night. There will be raffles, prizes and tombola to help raise funds for The Kayaks Charity so we can continue supporting our members and the SEND Community.
