This show, as the name suggests, is the 53 year Musical Journey of Kavita Krishnamurti. Kavita Krishnamurti has lent her voice to an astounding 50,000 songs in various Indian languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, and Marathi. Some of her notable songs include Hawa Hawai, Tu Hi Re, Mera Piya Ghar, “Jumma Chumma De De”, Tumse Milke”, “Kuch Na Kaho”, and many many more. She has received several awards and nominations for her contributions to Indian music. Krishnamurti’s versatile voice and ability to convey emotion through her singing have earned her a special place in the hearts of music lovers in India and beyond. ‘The K Factor’ will Showcase all these aspects of this extremely talented singer. There will be a tribute section, where this Singing Diva will pay her respects to Hemant Kumar, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, O P Nayyar, Khayyam, Geeta Dutt and Talat Mehmood. She will also sing regional songs in Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Marathi. A band of around 30 talented Musicians will accompany Kavita Krishnamurti in this tightly woven theatrical presentation of her wonderful musical journey of 53 years.
