About this Event
Each year TONE hosts a weekend-long celebration of Juneteenth with the community; and we’re calling our family back home for Juneteenth: A Family Reunion. Juneteenth is the day that Black Americans in the south received news of their freedom and the day that shifted our reality, forever. It’s our job to honor the lives that have come before us and shape the reality for those that will come after us.
What better place to spend Juneteenth, than in Orange Mound, where our story is that of Black origin?
On Sunday, June 18th, we’re bringing all of the festivities back to our grounds at the Orange Mound Tower, as we head into the festival.
The 2023 Juneteenth Festival is coming harder than before. Think of it like this: Black vendors. Black food. Black performers. Black games. Black joy. Black experiences in Black spaces.

We’ve partnered with local Black-owned food trucks and vendors to be able to redistribute that wealth right back into our people.
We want you to come out and enjoy this free festival and commemorate the holiday with us: dance and sing as loud as possible, meet new people and create unforgettable memories.
