The Joy of Diwali at Sutradhar Studios

Diwali is known all over the world as the Indian festival of light. Lamps are lit, sweets given and stories told of the goddess Lakshmi - purveyor of abundance and reminder of our inner light. Sutradhar Institute - whose name means 'Storyteller' - brings a joyous savoring of our resilience in the face of darkness. Stories of goddess Lakshmi told in the style of Katha storytelling; tasting “a plate full of delicious ‘rasa’ or joy!”

This special program will features storytellers and dancers, including:
