About the show:
Hailing from Kentucky and honing his craft in New Orleans and New York, pianist and composer Jon Cowherd brings a unique blend of influences to his music. Best known for his enduring collaboration with drummer and bandleader Brian Blade, Jon co-founded the Grammy-nominated Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band. Their acclaimed albums showcase Jon's exceptional keyboard skills and distinctive compositions.In addition to his work with the Fellowship, Jon has collaborated with a diverse array of musicians across jazz, pop, and rock genres. His collaborations include luminaries such as Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, and Rosanne Cash, among others.
