Have you ever wondered why we teach kids the classic Bible stories? Some can be puzzling, even unsettling. Others may not seem to be especially child-friendly—or spiritually useful. But what if we’ve been missing the point? What if all these stories, from Genesis to Revelation, are really telling one story—the story of Jesus?
This year, the children of Mediator will discover that truth through The Jesus Storybook Bible. Each Sunday, after breakfast and community time, our children (ages 3-10) will gather with their teachers to hear a Bible story and then explore it through songs, crafts, and activities that bring the story to life. They’ll learn that every page of Scripture whispers Jesus’ name, pointing to who he is, what he has done, and why it matters for us.
The Jesus Storybook Bible invites our children into the greatest adventure of all: discovering that Jesus is at the heart of God’s story—and at the heart of their story too. Our faithful teachers are eager to share this joyful journey with them. What is more, every Mediator family with small children will receive a copy of The Jesus Storybook Bible, so that these stories can enrich their daily devotional lives.
