Dobro master Jerry Douglas is a Grammy-winning bandleader, producer, session musician and instructor. He has produced more than 100 albums and has been a featured performer on more than 1,600 albums. Douglas is a member of Alison Krauss & Union Station, co-bandleader for the United Kingdom’s Transatlantic Sessions series, founder of the Grammy-winning bluegrass group the Earls of Leicester and leader of the Jerry Douglas Band.
Since 2017, the Jerry Douglas Band has been forging new musical paths with deep roots in bluegrass and folk that extend into the Americana and jazz landscapes. In 2021, the band released an album, Leftover Feelings, with legendary singer-songwriter John Hiatt that was nominated for a 2022 Grammy for Best Americana Album. Their previous record, 2017’s What If, received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. In addition to Douglas, the Jerry Douglas Band includes Daniel Kimbro on bass, Christian Sedelmyer on fiddle and Mike Seal on guitar.
