We'll be visited by the touring Jake Leg Jug Band, which offers its particular take on the authentic sound of 1920s & 1930s American music. The band line-up will be Duncan Wilcox (vocals and double bass), Warren James (vocals, banjo and guitar), Joe Moretti (saxophone) and Nick Barber (washboard).The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away!
No need to book in advance, just come along! The entry fee of £12 (£10 for members) can be paid at the door by card, cash or cheque. The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row.
