Just when you thought Garage Rock had reached its limits, The Jackets have breathed new life into the genre, propelling it into the future with their own blend of '60s influences, punk attitude, and psychedelia. Hailing from Switzerland, this female-fronted trio has gained worldwide recognition for their electrifying live performances, amassing a large and devoted fan base since their formation in 2008.
Led by the charismatic Jackie Brutsche (AKA Jack Torera) on vocals and guitar, Chris Rosales on drums and Samuel Schmidiger on bass, The Jackets form a raw and tight-knit three piece whose energetic performances make each concert an unforgettable event. But The Jackets are not just musicians. They're multi-dimensional artists who explore film, theatre, visual art, and storytelling, all of which find expression in their artwork, lyrics, and music videos. Their creative pursuits enrich their overall artistic vision, adding depth and complexity to their captivating sound.
Since 2008, The Jackets have brought their high energy live performances to stages throughout Europe playing at some of the most well-known festivals in the genre and America where they have toured the East and West coast of the USA several times including stops in Canada and Mexico.
