Once per month, Shane Pendergast hosts The Jack Pine Folk Club, a spell-bounding evening of music and poetry. The event follows the traditions of coffeehouses of the 1960's. The April edition will feature fisherman-poet Chris Bailey who will read selections from his brand new book 'Forecast: Pretty Bleak', published by McClelland & Stewart. Musical performers will include folksinger Shane Pendergast, Island legend Jon Rehder, and the entrancing musical stylings of Roger Stone.
$20 at the door. Showtime 7:30pm.
