7.30pm - Film Starts 'The Italian Job' (1969)
Richard and Carolyn Holmes will be embarking on a journey spanning all the way from Marlborough to Venice in Italy and back, inspired by the events of the classic 1969 film featuring Michael Caine 'The Italian Job'.
THE BIG EVENT:
- Welcome drink upon arrival in our heated, covered courtyard.
- Display of real classic Minis outside The Parade Cinema.
- Charity Raffle filled with amazing prize not to be missed.
- Meet Richard & Carolyn who are driving from Marlborough to Venice on the Mini adventure.
- Watch mini adventure footage on our Foyer screen.
- Enjoy a popcorn pot and make your way to the big screen for the Classic, that is The Italian Job 1969.
A message from Richard & Carolyn Holmes:
"Carolyn and I completed the event in 2023 when we drove with 30 teams from Marlborough to Turin and back in a different mini - a total round trip of 3,500 miles. We raised over £2,500, and as we were one of the top five fundraising teams, that amount was doubled by an anonymous donor, and donated to Buttle UK. This year our destination is Venice, the location for the 2003 remake of the original Italian Job film."
