is debuting our novel brand of intimate live music experiences at the island's first homegrown gin distillery — Brass Lion.
Expect three live performances up close & personal, local and regional art, and one party to end the night.
In the collective's signature fashion, acts will be announced right before they take the stage, with doors opening at 6pm and the first act taking the stage at 7.30pm.
The Sound
The Island Collective is a brand of live music experiences curated for intimate moments, deep connection, and soulful reflection. Eclectic and energetic, the parties happen at a novel venue every time and feature three regional acts over a 2.5-hour set. In bringing new sounds and experiences to islanders, the collective’s affinity lies with genres that are more elusive on the island, including R&B, soul, funk, reggaeton, jazz, afrobeats, alternative indie, electronic, and instrumental, although this will be a surprise every time.
The Distillery Tour
As a nod to our Southeast Asian roots and in the spirit of promoting the richness of this region, partygoers arriving before 7pm will be treated to an exclusive distillery tour where they can expect to learn about the Southeast Asian ingredients that make up Singapore's first homegrown gin as well as get a taste of a variety of one-of-a-kind gins.
The Art
A complementary feature of the collective’s parties, varied art forms will accompany the sound in the creation of our signature experience. Hung art from regional creatives will be exhibited and auctioned at the party, with limited access given exclusively to guests. Art exhibited at the collective’s parties will not appear a second time. Performing artists are also encouraged to use the collective’s platform to showcase other creative endeavours or activism.
