
About this Event
"The Invisible Mammal" tells the captivating story of an all-women team of scientists striving to protect North America's bats against a deadly disease. The documentary premiered at the prestigous DocLands Documentary Film Festival in May, where it won the Audience Choice Award.
The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Dr. Jesse Barber, Chief Conservation Scientist for the American Museum of Natural History, Dr. Rita Dixon, State Wildlife Action Plan Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Jamie Utz, Regional Wildlife Diversity Biologist for the Idaho Department of Fish and Gameβs Southwest Region, and Matt Podolsky, the film's producer.
This is a free screening, with the option to make a donation to the Wild Lens Collective, the 501(c)3 non-profit that co-produced the film. All donations will go towards covering the costs assocated with hosting community screening events like this one. Registration is required since there is limited capacity at the screening venue.
