Join West Yorkshire Bat Group as we host a film screening for the documentary film, The Invisible Mammal at Leeds City Museum.
The Invisible Mammal is a 2025 documentary film by Kristin Tièche thatfollows a team of women biologists working to save North American bats from the deadly fungal disease white-nose syndrome (WNS). The film, set against the backdrop of the sixth mass extinction and the COVID-19 pandemic, explores the vital role bats play in the ecosystem and illuminates the connections between bat conservation and infectious disease. It highlights the dedication of bat experts.
