About this Event
Join the 2 Mutts Hockey Podcast and Mindbuffs for an inspiring and insightful evening focused on mental health and positive team culture in youth sports! The Invisible Game: Mental Health in Sports is a first-of-its-kind annual event aimed at empowering athletes, parents, coaches, and community leaders with tools to foster resilience, communication, and well-being in the world of youth athletics.
Hosted by Elliotte Friedman from Hockey Night in Canada and the 32 Thoughts Podcast, this event features keynote speaker Tyler Smith, a resilient survivor of the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy, who brings profound insights into mental health and positive sports culture. Adding to the excitement, a mystery guest from the Edmonton Oilers will join the Hot Stove panel, along with other surprise guests, for a memorable discussion on the importance of mental wellness in sports.
Funds raised will directly support the Sheldon Kennedy Centre of Excellence and KidSport Alberta, two organizations committed to making a positive impact on youth mental health and accessibility in sports. Whether you're an athlete, a parent, a coach, or simply someone interested in creating a healthier sports environment, we warmly invite you to be part of an evening of storytelling, discussion, and actionable insights.
