The International Peace Festival is a week-long cultural celebration that transforms Toronto into a global stage for unity, creativity, and collective action. Featuring powerful speeches, thought-provoking films, engaging dialogues, art showcases, and musical performances, the festival culminates in an elegant gala and grand ball honouring global peace champions. From the inauguration of the Garden of Peace to evenings of world-class cinema, each moment invites you to be part of a movement that celebrates diversity, amplifies community voices, and explores what peace means. Together, we can spark understanding, inspire connection, and take action toward a more peaceful world.

Opening Ceremony & Inauguration of the Garden of Peace - Sunday, September 21, 2025 | 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Toronto City Hall, Council Chamber
- 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Speeches and Musical selections in the Council Chamber
- 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Inauguration of the Garden of Peace in the Rotunda
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Youth For Peace Panel Discussion in the Council Chamber
Film For Peace - Monday to Wednesday, September 22–24, 2025 | 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. - Spadina Theatre, Toronto
Enjoy curated evening screenings featuring films on peace-building, including those that address human and environmental rights, reconciliation, and community resilience. General admission is free, but there is a limited number of tickets at each screening for those who prefer to avoid the line and have a seat for $10.

Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala & Grand Ball - Friday, September 26, 2025 | 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. - The Omni King Edward Hotel, Toronto
Join us for a glamorous white-tie evening featuring a cocktail reception, a three-course dinner, live entertainment, dance, and a late-night afterparty. Celebrate global peace champions, cultural leaders, and award honorees in a night of elegance and tribute.
