About this Event
TICEM2025, taking place at the Woodbine Banquet and Convention Center, 30 Vice Regent Blvd, Etobicoke, ON, M9W7A4, Canada from 17th to 18th January 2025, will bring together more than 600 participants from around the world to address today’s major challenge of malnutrition.
OBJECTIVES of the eventOne of the major objectives of the conference is to promote a multisectoral and multistakeholder approach to nutrition by bringing together leaders from health, agriculture, education, social protection, and other related sectors, as well as delegates from international organizations, civil society, and the private sector.
To this end we shall facilitate several dialogues on nutrition involving all stakeholders, as well as pre-conference events for political players, civil society, and the private sector. The diverse representation will allow for more inclusive policy discussions and the unification of knowledge and capacities of multiple stakeholders to cement nutrition as a priority in the global development agenda. The business and civil society are key allies in the fight against malnutrition, as they ensure that the best technologies are available, that safe, healthy food is delivered to consumers, and that the voices of the hungry are always heard. During the conference, various government representatives, international institutions, civil society, the world of agriculture and the private sector will engage in several dialogues including but not limited to the following.
