WILLIE LANGSTON - FOUNDING PARTNER AVALON ADVISORS
Willie Langston co-founded Avalon Advisors in 2001. Over its twenty-two year history, Willie served as the firm's Chairman, CEO, and Executive Vice Chairman before its merger with Corient in 2023. Prior to forming Avalon, Willie spent five years in Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management Division, assisting the company in starting its first Private Wealth Management Division in Texas. Earlier in his career, he spent eleven years with Goldman Sachs' Private Wealth Management Division in Houston and four years with Coopers & Lybrand. Currently, Willie works with clients and serves on the board of Public Square Holdings, the Mays College of Business Advisory at Texas A&M University, and Glorieta Camps, a Christian camp where he and his wife met in 1979. Willie holds a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
