About this Event
This explosive group led by Quincy Mayes will present a time capsule evening of 70s Funk, Jazz Fusion and Música popular Brasileira in a "live mixtape" format. Paying tribute to such seminal artists/groups as Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, Azymuth and Flora Purim, this ensemble envisions new arrangements and colors that bring fresh perspective to influential works from past eras. Open your mind, and come along for the ride.
