About this Event
The Bright Star Center for grieving children and families presents, “The Incredible Grief Journey”. A 4-day summer camp experience for grieving children.
Bright Star’s summer day camp is a bereavement camp (sponsored by Hospice of Health First) for youth who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. Children ages 5 to 12 participate in a camp experience that facilitates emotional support and grief education with fun, interactive camp activities.
How will my child benefit?
- Children will have opportunities to process grief in health ways.
- Make friends who have had similar experiences.
- Honor and remember loved ones.
- Have fun!
Fast Facts:
- Camp takes place at Bright Star in Melbourne. Space is limited.
- Time: 9 am- 12 pm
- Registration is required for all campers.
- Snack will be provided each day!
- Closed toes shoes and comfortable clothes required.
