In Honor of Bill Orr, we have decided to name this Campground Fishing Tournament after the one that started this event up MANY years ago- Bill Orr. Bill and Julie Orr started this tournament and in 2022 they came out of "retirement" to put it on again. Bill passed away in 2023 so we are carrying it onward! Bill would have a Fish Fry going and Julie headed up the Fishing Tournament.
We have decided to make this a fundraiser for our Lodge and would LOVE your support.
If you don't fish, that is fine... Come out and have Dinner, Take Your Chance At Any of the DOOR Prizes / Gift Baskets we'll have out or just donate for the Cause.
This year we are having the SEAFOOD FOOD TRUCK from Carolina Seafood (Cherry Road) for Dinner before the Tournament and then commence fishing away! The truck will also have Chicken for those that like food from the LAND... HA!
We are proud and HAPPY to Announce that on October 19, 2024 will be the day to bring it all back around again and see who will have braging rights for the next year!!
If you haven't participated in the fishing tournament, in the past this is a DO NOT MISS EVENT!

Registration and Info for the Tournament will be at the Elks Den in the Campground beside the Boat Ramp:
- $10 per rod (you can have as many rods as you can handle).
- Must have valid fishing license
- You can fish anywhere inside the PARK ONLY -
- Fishing for CATFISH only
- You MUST bring your fish up in person
- Prize for Biggest Fish & Prize for the Most Fish
(Adult and Jr. Catagories)
- 11:00 PM you have to be back at the Elks Den with your evening catches or you will be disqualified

We want members to invite people they know, anyone at any age is welcome to be a part of this tournament.
The fundraising committee is currently taking donations for "adult" gift baskets as well as door prizes.
Please seen anyone on the committee of you would like to donate and make this Kickoff Year - ONE TO REMEMBER!
