Welcome to the Baby Group You've Been Looking For!
A dreamy spot with hot coffee, delicious food, and a beautiful space where children 4 and under can play freely (FYI as suggested all coffees will now be put in travel to save spillages). Better yet, leave them at home and join us for some uninterrupted real conversations and the chance to make genuine friends—and have a chance to have a bit of a moan which we all need because being a Mum is the best job in the world buts its also the hardest.
In this month's talk I was thinking about self-compassion and making friends with your inner critic.
When we become mothers, we often feel unrecognisable to the person we used to be. This loss of our sense of self can shake our emotional resilience. In this talk, we'll explore the importance of self-compassion during the early stages of motherhood when we're navigating so much newness. I'll share practical strategies to make peace with your inner critic and help you become your own cheerleader. You'll learn how to treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you show your child, allowing you to thrive as a mother and as an individual. Together, we'll work towards being the role models our children need so they don't struggle with that inner critic that can make us feel so sad and stuck.
