Yes we are racing this weekend.Yes this should have been an off-road at MCR weekend. Ed is going to Sumter to race oval, so we’re having a club race. We have traded weeks so that it will work out with the car show race. So we’ll race the 6th, 20th and the 34th of September . Ed will race the 13th, 27th and 41st of September.
We’ll run what classes show up, a novice class and maybe a whatever class??? Check the poll and plan accordingly. The track will be set up by 9ish for practice. We’re going to set up the track in the section with the handicapped spots. It will let us have a longer back straight. I’d like to have a drivers meeting at about 11:45 and start racing at noon
It’ll be $20 for the first class and $5 for each additional class. As usual if you race you need to turn marshal. Or help out somehow if you can’t turn marshal.
There is this race and one other before the car show race. So get your stuff ready, painted, assembled and/or primped for the car show public.
