A beautiful marriage of yin yoga and relaxing hypnosis to still the mind and regulate your nervous system
About this Event

Welcome to The Hypno Yin Yoga Method: Nourishing the Heart workshop.
In this transformative workshop, we invite you to embark on a beautiful journey of expansion within yourself. Using heart-opening yin poses and guided hypnosis techniques, together we will cultivate gratitude, compassion, and love as we transition into the warmer months of summer.
In our world of busy, sometimes it’s difficult, and human of us, to put ourselves and our needs on hold for the sake of our loved ones. We soon learn that we cannot pour from an empty cup, and that it’s not selfish to put ourselves first — because when we are well taken care of, nourished, grounded, and calm, we are able to give our loved ones the best versions of ourselves, & that’s what everyone deserves.

Using Michelle's expertise as a Certified Hypnotist and Amanda's passion for Yin Yoga, together we've fused both modalities into a signature class, "The Hypno Yin Yoga Method."

This unique offering will:

- Bring more awareness, calm and peace to the mind, body and soul

- Create a safe space to explore and release any stored emotions in the body & any chatter in the mind

- Regulate your nervous system so you leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and more present

About Yin Yoga:

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Unlike more active styles of yoga, Yin Yoga involves holding passive poses for an extended period, typically ranging from 1 to 5 minutes or even longer. Props such as bolsters and blocks are used to support the body, allowing it to open slowly and naturally through passive stretching.

The primary goal of Yin Yoga is to increase flexibility and joint mobility, as well as to cultivate a deep sense of relaxation and inner stillness. It also aims to stimulate the flow of energy, known as "qi" or "prana," through the body's meridian channels or energy pathways.

About Hypnosis:

Hypnosis is a trance-like state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility. While hypnosis has been surrounded by various misconceptions and sensationalized depictions, it is generally considered safe and is used as a therapeutic tool in clinical settings.

During a hypnosis session, the practitioner guides the individual into a state of deep relaxation, often using techniques like progressive muscle relaxation or guided imagery. In this state, the person remains fully aware and in control, but their attention becomes highly focused, and their subconscious mind becomes more receptive to suggestions.

Hypnosis is not like stage hypnosis. You will not be asleep, you will not be out of control and when Michelle stops speaking you will no longer be in a trance like state and will only take suggestions that resonate with your unconscious mind.

No prior yoga experience is required, and all levels are welcome. Props will be provided, but please bring your own yoga mat, comfortable clothes, a water bottle and an open mind.

Please give yourself ample time to arrive and find parking as we will begin the class promptly at 8:45 pm. Late comers will unfortunately not be allowed to enter as this will disrupt the flow.
