During the witch craze of the 16th and 17th centuries three sets of trials for witchcraft were held in Huntingdon, arguably giving it a grim claim to be the “witch trial capital of England”.
Discover the stories behind the infamous “Witches of Warboys”, “Witchfinder General” Matthew Hopkins and what may be the last execution for witchcraft in the country. Speaker - Stuart Orme, Curator of The Cromwell Museum, Huntingdon.
