The latest single 'Boys That's a Cowgirl’ Released on SSM/Nashville hit Country Radio hard and fast in 2024 and sat at #3 after only 12 weeks! Hugh co-wrote the song with award winning Nashville songwriter Bill Diluigi, to frame an image of the western cowgirl and her tender strengths.
The Hugh Phillips Band is from Carbondale Colorado. Their first release ‘It’s Been a Long Time’ released on String Kitchen Music, were nominated as the Best New Artist/Band, Best New Male Vocalist, and Best New Americana/Country Song [Hi-Ways] on the Colorado Playlist 2021 Listener Poll.
