Jeff brings focus on the most important aspect of negotiation, the human element.

Speaker Bio:
Jeffrey B. Owens CSP, CTM, CVP, Major-Honolulu PD. Ret. is a former police Hostage Negotiator and Division Commander who worked his way up from “street-cop” to leadership in the Honolulu Police Department. After police service he opened a private detective and security business, was recruited to an executive leadership position with a multi-national firm, and founded a successful training and consulting company, Transcend Inc. through which he delivers high-quality presentations that achieve results.
Jeff is a 2021 Inaugural Inductee to the Hawaii Speakers Hall of Fame, and 2022 Inductee to the Virtual Speakers Hall of Fame.
A dynamic and energetic speaker Jeff is uniquely qualified to provide training and presentations that help organizations, leaders, and teams to decrease headaches and increase employee engagement, retention, and productivity by applying the real-world Power of Respect learned as a Hostage Negotiator and in Senior Leadership positions.
