About this Event
The Hot L Poets reading series is the work of Smartish Pace and Baltimore Poets Theatre. Hosts: Clare Banks, David Yezzi, and Stephen Reichert.
Featured readers for this special AWP edition include: Clare Banks, Jan Beatty, Armen Davoudian, Denise Duhamel, Barbara Hamby, David Kirby, Bradley Paul, Alexis Sears, Chris Watkins, and David Yezzi.
Part of the fun of this event is that you'll get to see inside an iconic historic space in Baltimore, a long-shuttered 19th-century church at the inception point of being reimagined and renovated for the future. It's really beautiful, but it does mean that it's not ADA accessible and has quirky bathrooms. Hopefully you'll want to come back in future years when the space has been fully renovated to be more accessible, but in the meantime, we look forward to seeing you and apologize for any inconvenience.
