Since 2021, we have been raising awareness and funds to help childhood cancer research thrive through the legacy of Charleys Rose and her foundation “Charleys Rainbow Foundation”. This foundation is a 501c nonprofit created to continue Charley’s fight with childhood cancer. Charley was diagnosed at five months old on Christmas day with a “Rare” form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma. She fought every day for eight months with a smile on her face and a cape on her back. She touched the lives of everyone around the world, she became the world’s baby. On September 6, 2021, Charley traded in her superhero cape and traded them in for Angel wings. On this day our mission was clear. We need to do better for Charley. We need to do better for all the children who are fighting big battles. In August of 2022 our Hope Fest for childhood cancer started. This event was something we created to honor Charley’s fight and to help others, and this event is how we met our very own Superhero, Savannah Solivan. Savannah has been a big part of our Hope Fest. In September 2024, we celebrated her for the superhero she is. She beat cancer. After battling Osteosarcoma with intense Chemo, and several surgeries; one being amputation of her leg. Savannah faced many obstacles that most adults will never face in their lifetime. She did so with strength and courage. We welcomed back Savannah at our Hope Fest 2025, and not only did we cheer for her, but she helped cheer on and honor other children fighting cancer. Savannah loves gymnastics, soccer and hanging out with her friends. She was able to return to life as a normal teenager after adjusting to all her new normals. She deserves to enjoy just being kid. When you have cancer as a child, it takes so much from you. It steals your childhood. Savannah said that when she gets older, she wants to be a pediatric oncology nurse to help children go through what she had been through and hopes that one day there will be a cure. On October 8th, Savannah and her family learned that the very drug used to cure her Osteosarcoma caused her to have Leukemia. Savannah has since had to put her childhood on hold again and put back on her superhero cape and fight this evil once again. She has a tough fight ahead of her, but she will beat this! Our Hope Fest family are coming together on December 14th with the help of our community to help raise funds for her family, awareness for childhood cancer and to show our love and support for her and her family. Please consider donating to our cause and joining us in song and dance as we help give Savannah and her family a Christmas to remember. Let’s spread HOPE for Christmas! No child should ever have to fight cancer, and no child should ever fight alone.
