Host Mike Caceres is a Comedian and Filmmaker from Chicago. With a Charming smile and a luscious head of hair, Mike uses his silly comedy stylings to bring laughs all across the midwest. You can see him every Thursday night hosting the open mic at CG’s Comedy Club. Whether he’s at any of Chicago’s premiere comedy clubs or a sticky roadhouse dive bar, a night of Comedy with Mike Caceres will be a show you won’t soon forget!
Guest Feature Alex Savant is an award-winning comedian from Rockford and co-producer of the renowned collective Chill Pill Comedy. Quickly rising through the ranks of comics in the Stateline area, Alex has developed a voice that feels just as at home shouting over a pool hall jukebox as it does deliver biting satire in the region’s most historic theaters. His stiff-upper-lip style follows in the working-class traditions of Pryor and Carlin—critical but not thoughtless, unabashed but not crass. Unafraid to punch above his weight class, Alex performs regularly across the Midwest.
Main Feature Yoni Heisler is a Chicago-based stand-up who enjoys blending sharp one-liners with quirky observational humor. Currently a paid regular at Zanies in Chicago, Yoni has opened for headliners like Tim Dillon, Ali Macofsky, and Myq Kaplan. Yoni has performed at clubs across the US, including The Laughing Tap, Comedy Plex, Carolines on Broadway, and New York Comedy Club.
Our Headliner Katie Meiners is a funny and energetic stand-up comic who performs on stages throughout the Midwest including regularly at the Zanies, Helium and Improv Comedy Clubs. She’s a graduate of The Second City Chicago's Comedy Writing Program and loves weaving together jokes with crowdwork and improvisation. Katie won the inaugural Chicago Comedy Championship as well as the Smoke Break Comedy Competition early in her pursuit of comedy. She's worked with hundreds of incredible headliners including too many Saturday Night Live legends, social media stars and podcasters to list. When not on stage, you can find her walking in the woods, shopping in a Ross and pursuing her latest vision board goal of becoming the first over-40 Disney princess.
