The Honey Dewdrops return to the G.A.R. Hall. Incredible songwriters, multi-instrumentalist and sweet, sweet harmonies!June 22nd- The Honey Dewdrops - Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish of The Honey Dewdrops, began touring in 2009 and have called the city of Baltimore home since 2014. With several albums and fourteen years of playing shows on the road, they continue to expand their experimental folk sound of electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin and clawhammer banjo intertwined with tight vocal harmonies. They maintain a commitment to deepening their understanding of the world through the lens of songwriting and music. No Depression says “The Honey Dewdrops have a way of filling their songs with humanity, using their beautiful playing and harmonies to emphasize what connects us all.”
I first met Laura and Kagey on my first trip to Folk Alliance in the VERY early days of Voices in the Valley. I fell in love with their music, and them as truly geniune people. They have come back to the G.A.R. Hall every year since, other than through Covid. They are incredible song writers, both are multi-instrumentalist and their harmonies- simply amazing. Please join us for what is always an incredible night of truly beautiful music with Laura and Kagey - The Honey Dewdrops.
