The Home Grown Art Series is a 3-part series of creative workshops exploring the theme of “home” led by and Friends.
Each session uses a different medium—watercolour, collage, and poetry—to reflect on home as more than a physical building.
While each session stands alone, joining all three offers a more cohesive journey into memory, belonging, and creative expression.
Workshop #1: Where is Home?
In this watercolour workshop, guest artist will guide participants in translating a personal image of home into art.
You’ll be asked to bring a printed photo of a building or place you call home, and together we’ll explore how colour, water, and memory can shape belonging.
