About this Event
The Home Grown Art Series is a 3-part series of creative workshops exploring the theme of “home” led by and Friends. Each session uses a different medium—watercolour, collage, and poetry—to reflect on home as more than a physical building.
You don’t need to have attended the first two workshops to join—each session stands on its own.
Workshop #3: What is Home?
In this closing session, we’ll explore the idea of “home” through poetry and mixed media. With guest artist , participants will work with pencil and paper, drawing inspiration from personal photos of places, people, and things that embody home. Together, we’ll weave these reflections into a collaborative piece that honours our shared stories and perspectives.
If you attended earlier sessions, feel free to bring your past pieces as inspiration for this final workshop.
This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, open to all levels of experience.
