One of my favorite places to facilitate a retreat is at the beautiful Quiet View, Kingston Canterbury. A fundamental basic mindfulness practice is stopping and pausing. Stepping off the hamster wheel of doing for a little while and just be. Connecting with the present moment in its fullness - easier said than done. So on this retreat day we will be exploring the art of pausing, how it helps, why its helps, and why it can be so challenging. So give yourself time and space to step back, breath and make your way home to yourself. During this retreat day we will explore the practice of the of pause, move our bodies in different ways, have time for reflection and rest - and be nourished by nature and held in mindfulness.
This day retreat is for those with some basic mindfulness practice or for those wishing for time & space to deepen their practice.
