The Holy Fools play a unique blend of Americana music, featuring the songs of Tennessee singer-songwriter Chris Floyd, backed by long-time veterans of the UK music scene Harry Brzezinski (lead guitar) and Nigel Brown (bass). Steeped in the traditional forms of Floyd's upbringing in the rural hills and valleys outside Nashville, the Fools range across the gamut of American music: gutbucket blues, rollicking gospel, soulful ballads, old-time country, Western swing, Tex-Mex, and folk-rock.
Since getting together in 2018, the Holy Fools have played clubs, pubs, hotels, and festivals across the region. They've headlined the Ilfracombe Country Music Festival, been featured artists at the Oxford Folk Festival for years, and were finalists in Americana UK's Twang Factor contest.
Their debut album Testament was released in 2020.
