THE HOKIE WAY is joining Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia for THE HOKIE WAY DAY at Ronald McDonald House featuring our Tab Top Extravaganza!This FREE family-friendly event will be packed with excitement, including food trucks, kids’ activities, special appearances by Virginia Tech Hokie Athletes, unique Hokie Way and RMHC-SWVA swag and MUCH MORE PLUS our annual Tab Top Extravaganza Recycling Competition. Attendees can also explore a variety of vendors and celebrate the impact of colleting tab tops to support families in need. Join us for day of supporting the mission of RMHC-SWVA and engaging in some fun-filled Hokie spirit!
What is Tab Top Extravaganza Recycling Competition?
This FREE family-friendly event is a great way to show the benefits of both recycling and giving back to the community. Donations will be weighed and then poured into a large commercial dumpster, allowing attendees to see firsthand the remarkable things that can happen when a community “pulls” together.
Prizes are awarded to the top collectors in five categories:
Individual
Community Group
School
Business
College / College Group
