Join us for our annual New Year Hobby Challenge!Get some community inspiration as we all simultaneously go mad trying to finish 1000 point armies for your game of choice!
All you need is 1000 points of unpainted models for any of the qualifying games:
Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40k, Horus Heresy Age of Darkness, Warhammer the Old World

Join our store discord server (if you haven't already) and join the Hobby Gauntlet channel
The following number of raffle tickets will be awarded for completing each challenge.
Enter the challenge - 1
Finish painting 250 points - 5 tickets
Finish painting 500 points - 5 tickets
Finish painting 750 Points - 5 tickets
Finish painting 1000 Points - 10 tickets
Play 1 Game - 2 tickets
Play 2 Games - 2 Tickets
Play 3 Games - 4 Tickets
Complete all the challenges - 10 tickets
There are no individual timelines - just a hard final deadline! If you are the procrastinating type or the planning type this event is for everyone.
You have from January 18th until February 28th to complete your models!
'Complete' will be largely up to the person entering, but at the bare minimum your models must be:
- Painted with each detail clearly colored in with a distinct color (ie. space marine armour blue, pistol pouch brown, aquila red)
- At least one advanced technique used (a wash, thinned down contrast paint, drybrush or other layer/glaze/blending of paint)
- Based with a texture paint, sand, or other diorama product to a finished level (ie. texture paint applied, and a wash or drybrush applied)
On february 29th we will draw our raffle prizes, in store, the more entrants the more prizes, plus the store will put in some additional goodies.
