About this Event

Step into the enchanting world of Middle-earth as we celebrate all things Hobbit. Immerse yourself in the cozy ambiance of The Shire with a delightful selection of teas and treats inspired by hobbit culture. Let the magic of Tolkien's world envelop you as we toast to Bilbo's birthday in true hobbit fashion.


  • The Green Dragon Tea Flight Experience paired with sparkling and hot teas


  • Hobbit Treats featuring treats for Breakfast, Second Breakfast, Elevenses, Luncheon, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, and Supper.


  • Riddles in the Dark: Just like Bilbo's encounter with Gollum, be part of a riddle competition where guests take turns challenging each other with riddles. The one who answers correctly wins a special prize.


  • Hobbit Costume Contest: Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite hobbit character or in hobbit-inspired attire. Prizes will awarded for the most creative costumes.

Time Options

  • 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.


$65/per person + 6% taxes. There is no special pricing for children 8 and under.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable due to the nature of the events. Transfers and reschedules are always welcome and encouraged!

The tea room does have a handicap accessible front entrance, bathroom with limited space due to historic structure of building, and appropriate seating. Please contact [email protected] for additional clarification. We understand accommodations differ for each person.
